Things to Do in Fayetteville, Arkansas
Fayetteville is about an hour and ten minutes from Stage Stop — the furthest NWA day trip, but one of the most rewarding.
The University of Arkansas Campus
Hilly terrain, mature trees, architecture spanning historic to contemporary. The campus sits on a ridge overlooking the city. The Arkansas Razorbacks athletic program is a cultural institution — a game day visit is an experience.
Dickson Street
The entertainment district adjacent to campus — restaurants, bars, live music, shops, coffee. Lively on weekends and worth spending an evening exploring.
Walton Arts Center
The performing arts venue for the region. Check the calendar before your visit — touring productions and concerts throughout the year.
Lake Leatherwood and Trail System
Mountain biking and hiking within city limits. Part of the broader NWA trail network with technically interesting singletrack.
The Razorback Greenway
The southern terminus of the paved trail running north through Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville. Walk or ride the corridor that connects the whole region.
